Kaja Island is part of Palangkaraya City, Central Kalimantan. This island is home to 40 orangutans that are being prepared to be released into the wilderness. Kaja Island is under the control of Borneo Orangutan Survival, a non-profit organization that seeks to conserve orangutans in the Borneo region.
